Legend of Wii Sports Resort

Hey guys ^^
Do you know what time it is? No? Well it's time for some random rant!
And since it's such a nice day for a ~~blood bath~~ errrr a new game I'm just gonna start with this.

Got a copy of the new Wii Sports Resort today. Great game with sooo much to do. I'm a little disappointed with Wii Motion Plus though. Yeah, of course the controls are awesomely exact but I kinda expected a little more of the "wow"-effect. Furthermore I had to re-calibrate it all the time which sucked a lot. Oh well, maybe it's just me, who knows :/ Oh and - as expected - sword fighting is my favorite sport! Who would've guessed that, huh? Wakeboarding is cool, too :] However, I wasn't able to play everything just yet (way too much for my poor arm :( ) so maybe it turns out that I like mountain biking even more. ~~Yeah, right ...~~
Haha, but the best thing was this: there are stamps to collect, like do this and you'll get a nice flower stamp for it. And the very first I got said: "Perfectionist" - now isn't that quite fitting? Had a good laugh about that :)

Now to the "legendary part" of this post: I only got 4 episodes left to watch from the first season of Legend of the Seeker :( I feel so sad D:
So far I enjoyed "Sacrifice" and "Mirror" the most. "Sacrifice" was sad, intense and last but not least sexy! Kahlan as a Mord'Sith? Rrrrr! Kahlan kissing her lil' sister on the lips twice? Mostly wtf but also rrrr :D And "Mirror" was just awfully funny :D :D it was just like Xena; under the cover of playing some impostors of their original character Craig and Bridget got to show their comedic talent.
Hell, they were so good! Keep remembering Bridget's facial action when the impostors face some D'Haran soldiers and her partner is like "I'm not the seeker!" and hands them the Sword of Truth they had stolen from the real Richard. Just too good xD Or when Richard and Kahlan figure that there are impostors around and that the Sword of Truth is gone:
K: How could this happen?!
R: I was distracted ...
K: By a naked woman you went swimming wtih.
R: Well, I thought it was you!
Kept laughing for the whole episode and when Bruce showed up in the final parts ... damn, Zedd was like the cherry on the cake :] Oh and I just can't forget to mention that there was finally some kissing action between Rich and K. Oh well, not the real ones, but it kinda helps though, you know :P Damn, I think I'm gonna re-watch the season after I finish it. It's just too good - can't wait for more episodes ... :]

But first I'm off, playing some Wii Sports Resort again ... already addicted, what a shame <.< but what else to expect on a rainy + stormy day like this? :/

New conclusions

Wow. I'm in shock.
Just updated my so-called literature-archive (check it out btw!) and noticed that I didn't post anything for almost a year now - eleven months to be exact. You'd think that I wrote plenty of new things during all that time but all I got are some new parts for one lousy story ...

That realization really gave me a good shock and also made me notice what major role writing really plays in my life. I never realized this before, it was just, I don't know, an occupation that developed out of boredom during my teenage years. And since I'm a perfectionist I always wanted to finish every story that I started. However today ... it's so much more than an occupation. It's like a part of my soul!, that has been missing for almost a year ...

Maybe this explains a bit why I felt so weird for some time now. Maybe I finally reached the turning point? That would be nice, because I began to annoy myself ... :)

Oh whatever, let's talk about my second conclusion! I'm watching "Legend of the Seeker" right about now! I didn't hear about the story of the Sword of Truth before thus I didn't read the books by Terry Goodkind - unfortunately. Just perked up my ears when I heard "Sam Raimi" and "Rob Tapert" in once sentence again :P so I youtubed the series and voilà; already addicted! Just love it - unlike others who bash the show because its just "loosely based on" the novel and not "scripted line by line". ~~That's so ridiculous, people, go cry somewhere else and stop watching something you don't like, will ya? <.<~~
Let's get to the point xD: ~~Kahlan!~~ Bridget Regan! Oh my good, she's so damn pretty and sweet ... love her cute smile ... ^^ Makes me melt like ice cream in the sun - but I knew I already saw that heartwarming smile before! And it didn't take me long to figure it out :D Meet Bridget Regan (to the left) and Nina Eichinger, a German MTV moderator (to the right):

Of course it's clearer with pics in motion ;) but I so think they ~~are long lost sisters xD~~ look alike. Do you? But to tell the truth: both are unique ~~and I like Bridget so much better :P~~ ♥

R.I.P. my old friends

Good morning.

First thing I did today was visiting aunt Wiki to check whether or not my understanding of "summer" and "sunlight" matches the commonly used definitions. Here's what I found:

"Summer is one of the four temperate seasons, marked by the warmest time of year with the longest days."
"Sunshine, a combination of bright light and heat, ..."

Yup; that is what I thought, too. But why for God's sake would all those forecaster talk about "summer" and "sunlight" when there's obviously no "summer" or "sunlight" at all? All I see is a carpet of fat clouds that do not appeal to leave any time soon; I'm not even sure if the sun still exists! It's so suffocating my very last spirit of hope and happiness ...

So with this I'd like to say goodbye to my old friends:
Summer, that always made me sweat.
Sunshine, that brought a smile on my face most of the time.
My spirit I seem to have lost.

and my two special friends Sir Yeti and Khemi, who helped me to survive - even enjoy - biology and chemistry. My friends, who left me unexpectedly (okay, I already noticed that Khemi was shrinking every day ...) and way too early:

I'm gonna miss all of you :( ! Let's meet again, in the next life.

F-I-N-A-L-L-Y!

I'm back, Live Journal ! Gosh, feels kinda strange 0ô
So let me tell you what kept me busy for so damn long!

At first I've been busy with my Abitur (see last post). Actually it wasn't as hard as expected! All of my exams worked out the way I wanted them to be - except one. But hey; everyone gets bad days, right? So, yeah, I did good and I'm totally pleased with the results ^^
However, there was a "problem" with my study course. There is no NC (like in most of the other study courses around here ...) so I needed to attend a qualification test - and that rather early, too! After sending in some work samplings - thankfully I could use old ones otherwise I wouldn't have made it until the deadline - I received an invitation for the second round; a homework with the topic "mysteries" with a following presentation on campus in another three weeks. What I did? I built another homepage (in German) with an interactive story! My study course calls itself Digital Media btw and I chose Interactive Media as main focus. Oh and it's in English :D! Aw it's just so perfect for me ... However, back to the point; the point being that I passed! And I'm soooooo damn happy about it! A friend of mine tagged along btw and she passed the test, too! Getting to know new people is one thing but knowing that there's also a familiar face around is wonderful, too :]
That was until last week - in which sophsfirebird came by for another week's stay like the year before. So no break for me again xD But I really enjoy her company so that wasn't a problem at all; it was real nice to see her again ^^ Although I kinda hoped for better weather :( It's not as if we couldn't enjoy ourselves during rainy, dreary days ... but it would've spread our options if you know what I mean :/ Oh well, couldn't call mother nature to change it so I'm just gonna look forward to next year when I'm gonna visit her :D *is excited already* xD

And that's what happened to me the last few months. Come to think of it I'm glad that everything (concerning my future) is over now - for a while at least. Got two and a half month until I begin to study. So I'm gonna use that time for myself. I don't really know what it is but it might be that the knowledge that nothing won't be the same in the future is kicking in - and it scares me sometimes. It's exciting too! but most of the time I think about all the bad stuff that might happen. Comes with being a pessimist, I guess ...

That's it for now! Just one more thing: I'm thinking about re-designing this page - icons and profile included - due to the fact that my life changes, too. But I'm not sure about it yet :/ There's just one thing I'm sure about for the time being: updates are coming up - so stay tuned, will ya? ;P

So yeah. Finally I got a little time on my hands to post something in here. Wanted to do that for a little while now.

I won't be able to post something new (no posts, no fan fiction updates, ...) in another two or three months - at least not regularly. That's because I'm doing my Abitur right now (there's no English word for it but I think it's best described as a general qualification for university entrance. It's the highest graduation from school in Germany ;) ) and I'm really busy preparing for my exams.

So ... see you in summer! :]

So yey another expanded weekend! I think I''m getting used to this stuff.
However, I need that bonus time to do my homework. It's quite a lot :(( so I won't have much time to do some fun stuff like racing on MK or rambling something here ;) But who cares?- Only one month and a half to go until summer break! And then I'm having a lot of time on my hands and I'm able to have some real fun for once :D It's also the time where Brawl finally comes to Europe, so ... *can't wait anymore- aaaaaaahhh!!*

The weather is just awesome ... I'm getting outside now. First I have to build "Emma" - a new bench for our garden :] And then I tink that I should help my mother to paint the other one that's standing besides our door. And when we're finished there might still be some time for a short sunbath - yeeey!!! *is obsessed with sun* xP

So - hell yeah - I'm busy :D

... but what? xD I have absolutely no idea so I'm just gonna ramble.

I wondered today ... why is it that every time I need the internet for something unusual it's not working? That's not fair :[ First it crashed at my Wii and then at my PC, too. Don't know why! Now it works again ... at the computer, that is <.< I believe I can't do anything about it but wait for it to work again :\

"The Butterfly Effect" is on TiVo today and I'm gonna watch it. I remember liking that movie - those time jumps are awesome! And the different time lines are cool, too. And since I got nothing to do I might as well refresh my memories about the whole story/movie.

That's it for now. My brain is empty ;]

I don't know what the reason was/is but I'm kinda disappointed that ~~no one~~ just one appreciated my work & pictures and was so kind to at least leave a comment behind. But I think I can't really do anything about that, now, can I?

Since I'm almost bored to death I think I'm going to work on my problem now. What the problem is? Well, as you might have noticed I didn't post any writings in a very long time ... so now I'm faced with Hobson's choice:

I'm going to write something - anything - right NOW!

Not sure if my "strategy" will work out but I don't have anything left to loose.

Soooo ... I worked ~~all day~~ the whole evening and finally uploaded over 55 pictures from my trip to Spain & even commented most of them. There's also a short vid.
I'm afraid the pictures are kinda mixed up a little but that shouldn't hurt though. Especially since I named them. If there are any questions left feel free to ask :]

I'm back from my trip to Spain!
Gods, was that cool! The only things I hated were that:
1. not a single person spoke German or English which led to understanding issues.
2. the Spanish are total egoists. Sorry to say but that's how they presented themselves to us. However, maybe they were just having a bad ~~day~~ week.

Back in black btw :3 Okay, more like fried but that doesn't matter. Finally I got some real color in my face. Normally I'm rather pale, you know.

I think I can upload some pics of Madrid (& the other cities of Spain I was in) by the end of the week. This city is just awesome. There's no other word for something huge and impressive like that. And the weather ... *sigh* ... Heavenly! I still got itchy feet :\ although I rather burned myself ^^Oh but the quote in the headline is from my friend, who burned herself even more than I did, so ... I consider myself lucky xD

Today's not possible, uploading the pictures I mean, because of school ... had some homework for my holidays that I didn't know about. So I have to do those this evening. Life can be a real pain :(

Tomorrow I'm going to Spain with a friend of mine - Yay ^^
We can sleep & eat at my Uncle's place ... Ha that's going to be so much fun. And we'll take so much pictures xD
